Rivers Of Empowerment DC, emerged to take action and address some of the highly critical issues some of the residents face here in our Nations Capital. With homelessness, at-risk youth, mental health and substance abuse being side-by-side at the top of the list.

Dealing with these challenges not only requires problem-solvers, but problem-solvers with cultural competence, empathy, patience and compassion, to genuinely understand the structural, institutional, and day-to-day challenges that our clients face.
